Love to You and Your Family,
Ho-hum, so here we are again, Lockdown.
My Warrior Kids classes are closed, meetings cancelled, talks cancelled, income lost.
It will be no different for you. We’re all in it together, while not actually being able to be together.
The teens are home. Going through the fridge and cupboard as though some new food will have magically appeared since the last time they looked 10 minutes ago. Perhaps they think that their eyes may have missed something. There is plenty of food. Just not what they fancy at the time.
It’s funny how their homework looks a lot like fortnite, and other games. It probably won’t be long and I’ll be joining in. This old man’s lack of ability in the games amuses them.
The pets are happy. Having more people home to serve them.
My wife isn’t home. She is an essential worker. Out there masked, distanced and sanitised, and I hope, safe enough. We are thankful that we still have some income. That she works at a food market, and I hope, safe enough.
I’ve made a stew in the slow cooker. It should be ready when she gets home.
The Lockdown is frustrating, annoying, disappointing, yet there’s nothing to do, but to let go and accept the situation that we’re all in.
I can do some work from home. Unpaid work, but still work. Empowering for me. It’s time to focus on projects.
Write, create, clean, sort. Have space, breathe, relax, sit in the sun, exercise, read, talk, share, listen, learn. Keep moving forward, keep progressing. One step at a time.
Be gentle, with yourself, with your family, with everyone.
Put the jug on. Time for another coffee.
I am here. I will keep posting. Hoping to inspire and encourage.
Love to you and your family.
Kia kaha, kia maia, kia manawanui. Be strong, be brave, be steadfast.
If you are looking to be entertained you will find videos of me reading my books, and videos from my talks, on my website. Great for the kids, enjoy.
